6th TEKİRDAĞ SOCIOLOGY DAYS SYMPOSIUM

 

CALL FOR PAPERS

 

The theme of this year's Tekirdağ Sociology Days symposium, which will be held for the sixth time on 20-22 April 2026, will be ‘Society and New Media’. This symposium will seek to understand how the changing concept of media, alongside developing mass communication technologies, affects social life. The full texts of the papers presented at the symposium may be published in the faculty journal Humanitas after the peer review process. 

 

The main objective of this event, organised by the Department of Sociology, is to provide a platform for academics, students and members of the public from different disciplines to come together around a common theme, share ideas and engage in discussion. For this reason, the call for papers is open to all, including academics, students and members of the public with an interest in the theme of the event.
